When it is used

Superseded invoices, cheques, forms filled in wrongly. Accounting practice generally wants the mistake retained and marked rather than deleted.

Worth knowing

Set large and unframed so it cannot be mistaken for part of the document underneath.

  • The date fills itself in. It is a live field, not typed text, so the stamp is right every time you place it.
  • Change anything. Wording, ink, frame, size and the distress that makes it read as physically inked.
